Amy Schumer is gearing up for her next comedy movie, Best Divorce Ever. The Emmy-winning actress will reportedly star in and produce the upcoming movie.
According to a recent report by Variety, Sean Mullin serves as the writer and director for Best Divorce Ever. Meanwhile, Concourse Media is set to launch worldwide sales in Toronto next month. The company is also executive producing with its sister company, Archetype Media Finance.
Best Divorce Ever follows Clarissa and Franklin, a married couple of 20 years who have decided to get a divorce but not break up with each other. The pair throw an “Untying the Knot” party as a symbol of a friendly divorce, determined to make this new arrangement work. However, a series of disastrous dates and their botched attempt at “conscious uncoupling” complicate their initial plans.
Schumer is producing the feature alongside Matthew Lee Miller and Natalie Metzger for Vanishing Angle. The production company’s previous credits include Kill Me, Werewolves Within, Greener Grass, Queens of the Dead, and Thunder Road.
