Donald Trump Aide’s Resurfaced Wild Yacht Video Has Critics Calling Her Out

Donald Trump aide Lynne Patton is facing criticism after a strange video from a private yacht party resurfaced online. The video, reportedly recorded in February 2025 after a charity event at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club, appears to show Patton taking part in a bizarre party game involving an adult toy.

Patton, who now serves as Deputy Assistant to the President for Coalition Policy and Engagement, cannot be seen clearly in the footage, but her voice can reportedly be heard.

The Daily Mail obtained footage reportedly filmed by Washington lobbyist Ryan Coyne, who is described as a close friend of Patton.

The group had reportedly attended a February 6 benefit for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital before taking the party onto a yacht. In the video, Patton could be heard saying, “Ashley, get it. Ryan, get it,” as a purple adult device was passed around the room. While her face wasn’t visible, she appeared to join in on the game. At another point, she reportedly picked up the item from a chair and threw it onto the floor. She also said, “Start again! Start again!”

Patton apparently did not want to be caught on camera. She told the person who was filming, “Do not get our faces, you b—-. Wait, start again. You are not getting our faces.” Coyne could also be heard joking about the item during the video.

After the footage resurfaced, some social media users shared their reactions. One critic wrote, “Ewwwww…what a bunch of trashy people,” while another commented, “Gross.” The video has attracted extra attention because of Patton’s current role in the Trump administration.

Meanwhile, a White House official addressed questions about the footage. The official told the Daily Beast that Patton “consults with White House Counsel to maintain all required ethical standards.” The official also said Patton “is fiscally responsible for all her own residences.”

Lynne Patton served as the Region II Administrator for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development during Trump’s first term. Her return to the administration has also received support from conservative comedian Terrence K. Williams, who praised her loyalty to Trump and his family.
