Donald Trump’s Latest AI Fantasy Puts George Washington in His Ballroom

President Donald Trump posted an AI video on Truth Social showing him giving George Washington a tour of the White House ballroom. This is the latest addition to the former’s AI renditions involving the first US president. Even tho the construction project is currently blocked by federal courts.

Over the weekend, Donald Trump shared several AI-generated posts depicting himself alongside Washington, who died 227 years ago. The photos come amid an ongoing legal dispute over Trump’s $400 million ballroom project, which a federal appeals court has paused after finding the administration did not have the congressional authorization required to continue construction.

One post showed Trump and Washington seated on horseback, Trump dressed in a suit and tie next to Washington’s white horse. A separate photo showed the two figures appearing to write together on a document resembling a map. Trump also shared a darkened photo of himself wearing a hat that read “TRUMP 2028,” with the caption “We are going to win.”

Now, a follow-up video posted on Sunday showed an AI rendering of Donald Trump walking with Washington through the proposed ballroom. It was furnished with dining tables. Trump wrote alongside the video, “Thank you, George, for some of your brilliant ideas on this great Military Complex/Ballroom!”

Moreover, the posts follow a change in how Trump has described the purpose of the ballroom. He originally said it would serve as a space for hosting VIP guests. More recently, he and administration officials have described it as necessary for national security.

In a Truth Social post, Trump referred to the addition as a “desperately needed National Security structure.” Even criticized the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the group that filed the lawsuit halting construction. Further calling its members “‘TREASONISTS’ who revealed Top Military Secrets!”

A federal appeals court has directed officials to stop construction by August 21 unless Congress approves the project.
