Meanwhile, a royal expert has weighed in on the Sussexes’ UK trip, saying that “it all just descended into chaos.” Shedding light on the relationship between the Sussexes and the Waleses, the expert said that they wanted an apology before any real return, but it never came. She believes that the demand has now been dropped because it is unlikely to ever happen.

A report by NewsNation suggests that Kate Middleton would never apologize to Meghan Markle. After the infamous Megxit, the Sussexes made several bombshell claims in their Netflix docuseries and later in Harry’s memoir, “Spare”. Several of those claims involved the Princess of Wales and ultimately contributed to the rift between them.
According to Bronte Coy, a senior royal correspondent, Prince Harry and Markle had previously suggested they wanted an apology from Middleton before their return to the UK. However, she never apologized to either of them. Coy said she cannot imagine that happening. According to her, the demand has gradually been shelved because it is “obviously not going to happen.”
The reporter added that the door to an apology is effectively closed. Prince William is allegedly not interested in mending his relationship with his brother. In recent years, there have been attempts to bring the brothers, who were once inseparable, closer together, but they have seemingly been unsuccessful.
As for the Sussexes apologizing to the King and Queen Consort, Coy believes that is unlikely to happen either. According to her, there is one trait that William, Harry, and Charles share: they are all protective of their wives.
