According to Decider, the 42-year-old TV personality recently reflected on her memories from The Real Housewives of Orange County during an interview. The conversation eventually turned to Vicki Gunvalson, prompting Gina Kirschenheiter to reveal that fellow cast member Emily Simpson had made a controversial “Debbie Downer” comment that offended the OG housewife.
Gina said, “Vicki brought it up at every event, every table, and every place we went to this season. She was really offended by that comment.”
“It was hard for her to come to terms with the fact that her injury was slowing her down. It was affecting her personality, but she really didn’t want it to,” Gina said, knowing about Vicki’s knee pain.
For context, Emily Simpson, like Vicki Gunvalson and Gina Kirschenheiter, was also part of Season 13 and has remained a main cast member of RHOC through the milestone 20th season. Gina also revealed during the interview that Simpson was her best friend.
