David Letterman‘s acclaimed Netflix show’s Season 7 is set to feature Matt Damon, Julia Roberts, and more. The talk show originally began in 2018 and has managed to extend its journey for nearly a decade now.
Netflix’s My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman Season 7 will have a star-studded guest list including Hollywood stars Damon, Roberts, Jimmy Kimmel, and Skyscraper Live climber Alex Honnold, via Deadline.
Damon witnessed massive success with his most recent project, Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey. He played the leading role of Odysseus in the epic adventure movie. As for Roberts, she was most recently seen in 2025’s crime drama After the Hunt.
My Next Guest has spanned 31 episodes so far across six seasons and four specials. Last year, the show had notable guests from different fields, including WNBA star Caitlin Clark, actors Adam Sandler, Michael B. Jordan, Jason Bateman, and YouTuber MrBeast.
My Next Guest builds on an Emmy-nominated sixth season
The most crucial reason behind My Next Guest coming back with a seventh season is its growing popularity. The last season managed to land the Netflix show its eighth Emmy nomination for Outstanding Hosted Nonfiction Series or Special. It previously won in the same category in 2024.
“Combining humor, curiosity and in-depth conversations with extraordinary people, ‘My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman’ has Letterman back in the host’s chair, following a 33-year reign in late night,” reads the official logline for David Letterman’s talk show.
My Next Guest Needs No Introduction has Tommy Alter, John Nemeth, Hunter Speese, and Adam Donnelly as the producers. Additionally, Tom Keaney and Mary Barclay are serving as the executive producers alongside Justin Wilkes, Michael Steed, Isabel Richardson, and Yolanda T. Cochran.
Ahead of the next season, all six previous seasons are currently available to stream on Netflix. My Next Guest Needs No Introduction Season 7 has yet to receive an official date for its premiere.
