Jimmy Kimmel’s guest host, Anthony Anderson, took a jab at Donald Trump‘s secret catering-truck escape with a Jeffrey Epstein joke. Trump reportedly used a catering truck to escape from Air Force One in Turkey. As per reports, the President was transferred to a smaller plane due to security concerns.
Anderson referenced Jeffrey Epstein while joking that Donald Trump would be easier to hide in a bookmobile
Anthony Anderson recently mocked Donald Trump‘s escape in a catering truck while hosting Jimmy Kimmel’s show. The guest host used a reference to Trump’s alleged ties with the late convicted financier Jeffrey Epstein to call him out.
In a video posted on X (formerly Twitter) by Washington Post reporter John Hudson, Trump is seen boarding Air Force One after attending the NATO Summit in Ankara, Turkey. However, it was reported that he boarded a catering truck on the opposite side of the plane and switched to a US military C-32A aircraft. The reason given for this was alleged assassination threats from Iran.
Taking a jibe at this, Anderson said in his monologue, “That’s the same way he used to get onto Epstein’s plane. Now, I’m no security expert, but if I was trying to find Donald Trump, a catering truck is the first place I’d look.” He also suggested that the strategy is a flop and stated that the President should’ve hidden in a bookmobile.
Trump commented on the escape from the catering truck during an interview with CNN. He conveyed that he was instructed by the Secret Service and noted, “It’s only up to Secret Service. I just follow what they’d like to do. So I go by Secret Service and the military. On a different flight, a different plane, equal safety, but they wanted me to do it, so I do it. I do what they say.”
He further added that the reason was a possible threat.
