Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5 has announced its digital and Blu-ray release date following a successful box-office run. Fans can soon enjoy the beloved movie from the comfort of their homes.
Toy Story 5 arrives on digital platforms on August 18, including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV and Fandango at Home. Meanwhile, the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray and DVD will be released on September 22.
Additionally, fans can also get their hands on a limited-edition 4K SteelBook® on September 22. The item features several beloved Toy Story characters including Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Jessie, along with the new tech characters from the latest installment, Lilypad and Smarty Pants.
The 4K and Blu-ray editions include deleted scenes and exclusive bonus features
Fans who buy Pixar’s Toy Story 5 on 4K and Blu-ray will also get to enjoy multiple exclusive content, including deleted scenes and featurettes.
Here’s a list of all the deleted scenes that will be available on the movie’s physical releases. It also includes an introduction from director Andrew Stanton and co-director Kenna Harris:

- Failed Rescue
- Playtime
- Goodbye Charlie
- Reunion
Meanwhile, the featurettes showcase exclusive behind-the-scenes content with commentary from the filmmakers who discuss the making of certain scenes. They also feature gag reels from the recording booth, showing the cast having fun as they bring the characters to life.
Additionally, the digital releases will include exclusive music and lyric video of Taylor Swift’s original song from Toy Story 5, “I Knew It, I Knew You.”
Toy Story 5 is the latest installment of Pixar’s beloved film series and is set two years after the events of the previous movie. It brings back Woody, Jessie, Buzz, and the other toys who now have to deal with Lilypad, a tablet, stealing all of eight-year-old Bonnie’s attention.
Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, and Joan Cusack reprise their roles along with Conan O’Brien, Scarlett Spears, Greta Lee, Shelby Rabara, Mykal-Michelle Harris, and Craig Robinson as new cast additions.
