Queen Camilla’s Real Royal ‘Threat’ Isn’t Prince Harry & Meghan Markle — Insider

Queen Camilla‘s real royal “threat” is reportedly not Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, but Kate Middleton and Prince William. After Camilla married King Charles in 2005, her acceptance into the royal family was met with mixed reactions. Harry and William, Charles’ sons, welcomed her dutifully.

However, reports have suggested that they did not wholeheartedly accept her behind the scenes. Harry even referred to her as an “evil stepmother” in his memoir, “Spare.” Despite the strained history, sources now suggest that Camilla’s real threat within the royal family comes from the Waleses, rather than the Sussexes.

Queen Camilla reportedly fears being ‘shunted to one side’ by William and Kate, claims source

Queen Camilla is reportedly worried that she could be “shunted to one side” by Prince William and Kate Middleton once William takes the throne. It is no secret that the Queen Consort has not always shared a close relationship with King Charles’ sons, Prince Harry and William.

Harry also made several bombshell claims about Camilla in his memoir, “Spare,” even describing her as “dangerous.” This is reportedly one reason she has been hesitant about bringing the Sussexes back into the royal fold. However, things appear to be changing now. With the much-anticipated reunion between Charles and the Sussexes, speculation about a possible reconciliation has intensified. Camilla is reportedly supportive of the efforts to rebuild their relationship.

According to Closer Online, Camilla is also concerned about the future of the monarchy. In addition, she reportedly wonders what her position could look like once William becomes king. A source claimed that she wants to retain a prominent role within the monarchy moving forward.

The source said, “She feels it’s her right to continue to serve in a prominent role. She loves the ceremonial part and the high profile that comes with it, but, more than anything, she doesn’t want to be shunted to one side.”

For Camilla, the perceived threat is reportedly not Harry and Meghan Markle, but the Waleses. Once William becomes king and Middleton becomes queen consort, they will have significant influence over the future shape of the monarchy and Camilla’s role within it.

As the source put it, “No matter how many pleasantries they exchange – there’s always this undercurrent of mistrust that is impossible to deny.” Hence, Camilla is reportedly rebuilding connections. That way, as the report suggests, she can use the allies for the next chapter of the monarchy.
