Gleb recently made headlines after making remarks about his past relationship with Maura’s friend Brooks Nader, where the dancer described their intimate relationship as the “worst sex” of his life during an appearance on Unwell Winter Games.
Speaking to E! News, Higgins explained that her opinion comes from her loyalty to Nader, who dated the dancer after they met on a previous season of DWTS.
The former Love Island star, Higgins, also said she did not agree with some of Savchenko’s comments about women. Because of that, she feels she would not enjoy spending several weeks rehearsing and performing with him.
According to reports, Higgins’ remarks have not gone down well backstage. Sources claimed Savchenko was upset after her comments became public. Some are saying the situation has created an awkward atmosphere before the competition has even begun. However, both are expected to remain professional if they see each other during the show.
Savchenko and Brooks Nader began dating after they were paired together on Season 33 of DWTS. Their relationship attracted attention for several months before they eventually parted ways. Reports surrounding the split included cheating allegations, which Savchenko denied.
During the interview, Higgins also made it clear that she has no interest in having a romance with her dance partner. She joked that viewers should not expect a “showmance” from her this season, adding that she is happy being single.
