Bill Maher slammed celebrities who are still “obsessing” over President Donald Trump more than a decade after he first took office. The comedian said he is not bothered by Trump despite reports that the current administration tried to block his bid for the coveted Mark Twain Prize for American Humor and launched other personal attacks against him.

Bill Maher has reportedly called out celebrities who still vouch for Donald Trump. In conversation with British comedian Jack Whitehall, the political commentator remarked bluntly on his Club Random podcast: “If at this point, 10 years into the Trump situation, you are still obsessing about his personality, my view is that’s on you.”
The comedian attempted to educate his viewers not to let Trump get to them so deeply, as his personality will never change. He said, “Should we always be criticizing, as I do, what he actually does while he’s in office? Absolutely.”
Furthermore, Maher insisted he is “winning” as he remains unbothered by President Trump’s shenanigans. The 70-year-old podcast host referenced Trump’s recent events, like America’s 250th anniversary celebrations at the White House and UFC 250, among others.
Maher explained, “I don’t care about your reflecting pool. I don’t care about your ballroom. I don’t care what you do on the lawn. You can have UFC fights. You can have sheep grazing there like one president did. You can do anything. Pickleball. I don’t give a s**t what you do on the lawn.”
Continuing further, the comedian shared, “And if you’re a person who does, you’re just way too into Donald Trump as the person who controls how you think in life. Everything is about him. I’m not going there with you. You know, and I’m winning. And I’m somebody he attacks personally. And I care less than you do. Your life is all about Donald Trump. Mine isn’t.”
