King Charles is allegedly open to reconciling with his daughter-in-law, Meghan Markle, but she will have no room for error. Prince Harry will be returning to the UK next month with his family, and the news has left the public divided. Reportedly, King Charles has supported the Sussexes’ return, which has also frustrated some royal family members. However, the King has a warning for Markle.
One wrong move could reportedly derail Meghan Markle’s royal reconciliation
Per Closer Online, King Charles will allegedly not only pay for security but also ensure that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and their children, Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, reside in a royal residence for the duration of their visit. The monarch’s decision has reportedly already caused tension in the royal family. Prince William has allegedly even threatened to “boycott” family events at Sandringham for the time being.
Despite his support, King Charles has allegedly warned the Sussexes that they will need to adhere to his terms for the homecoming to go smoothly. An insider said, “He’s made it very clear to Harry that there cannot be any drama or any hint that this trip is being used for personal gain. If he sees any cameras or gets a whiff of troublemaking that will be the end of things.”
The King’s decision to reconcile with Prince Harry and his family reportedly stems from his desire to spend time with his grandchildren. Allegedly, senior royals, including Prince William, see this reunion as a “huge mistake.” However, Charles has reportedly clarified that one “wrong move” by Markle will squash any chances of a family truce.
The insider explained, “Charles has gone against a lot of advice to open this door and truth be told most people around him still think it’s a huge mistake. This is only happening because it’s what Charles wants, but one wrong move on Meghan’s part and any hope of a more permanent reconciliation could disappear overnight.”
