What do we see in the Hershey trailer?
Directed by Mark Waters, Hershey stars Wittrock as Milton Hershey and Daddario as Catherine Hershey.
The trailer follows the couple as they build the Hershey chocolate empire. Beyond creating the famous chocolate brand, the Hersheys are also known for being the founders of Milton Hershey School, a private K–12 school that provides tuition and other expenses for eligible students.
It features a young Milton who calls candy “not just a business but his obsession.” Although his product is good and well-liked by many, he struggles with setting it up as a business, with many obstacles in his way. As the trailer suggests, “getting a business off the ground takes more than a good product.”
The film was shot across 17 locations in Pennsylvania to capture the journey of the chocolate empire. Moreover, it spans nearly five decades, telling the story of the Hersheys from the early 1870s to the late 1910s. The film will be distributed by Angel Studios, and Sharon Paul and Timothy Michael Hayes wrote the screenplay.
The movie was produced by Sharon Paul, Mark Tilghman, Mary Aloe, Joshua Harris, and Will Hardy, with executive producers including Daniel Hank, Joseph Lanius, Flip and Susan Flippen, and Joanne Marlowe.
Alongside Daddario and Wittrock, the cast also includes Richard Kind, David Costabile, Alan Ruck, Dina Spybey, Helene Yorke, Daniel David Stewart, Francesca Faridany, and Michael Moreland Milligan.
The Hershey biopic opens in theaters on November 26, 2026.
