New footage of the POTUS seemingly wandering off in the wrong direction after a photo op at the G7 Summit in France has been doing rounds of the internet. It shows him reportedly going in the opposite direction from where he was supposed to go.
In the new video shared on X (formerly Twitter), French President Emmanuel Macron redirects Donald Trump towards the other end. The latter seemed to look very confused at the moment, leading to discussions among netizens.
This G7 debacle also drew a lot of attention, especially on social media spaces like Reddit, where netizens scrutinized the moment intensely. Many claimed that 80 years was too old to be President in the post.
“Wow, he really does look terrible,” one user wrote on Reddit. A second user added, “Travel seems to make him exponentially worse.” Yet another user wrote, “Unfortunately, he was rounded up and returned.”
The reactions also seem to stem from multiple such instances seen in recent months. This came shortly after Trump failed to speak during a meeting with Macron on Monday, June 15, 2026. Before this, he was also seen seemingly falling asleep during a UFC fight at the White House after celebrating his 80th birthday.
Many also hit out at Donald Trump for falling asleep during the fight. “This was the flag-waving patriotic 80th birthday he’s been planning for a year now… and it was so much fun, it was so exciting, he almost stayed awake through the whole thing,” late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel joked. “So sweet… he’s like an angel when he sleeps. You know my niece had a birthday on Sunday, too. She turned five years old. We took her to Disneyland; she also crashed out from the excitement…”
Meanwhile, Trump has yet to comment on the recent footage of him from the G7 summit and accusations of him wandering off.
