Elon Musk‘s estranged daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, had a bold reaction when asked about her father in a recent interview. The 22-year-old model, who recently featured in the Savage X Fenty Pride campaign, did not hesitate to discuss her father and abruptly walked away from the one-on-one.
Vivian Wilson storms off interview after Elon Musk question
During her June 2 appearance at the Desigual 40th-anniversary event, Vivian Wilson made a statement when she cut short an interview after a reporter complimented her in front of her.
“Your father, the best, no?” said the journalist to Wilson, according to Oli London. The up-and-coming model was visibly confused at the question and asked the reporter to repeat his comment. However, after hearing what the media executive had to say, Elon Musk’s transgender daughter simply stated, “Okay,” and stormed off the interview without any further clarification.
Although many on the internet sympathized with Wilson’s reaction, some disapproved of her decision to leave the interview midway. “Why ask her about her personal life when they know it’s an uncomfortable topic for her? Just stop harassing the poor woman and let her live her life on her own terms,” wrote one supporter.
Another user criticized Elon Musk’s daughter for her response, stating, “It is much more mature to give your honest, true opinion than to run off like a small child.”
Elon Musk and Vivian Wilson, whom he shares with his first wife, Justine, have been at odds for a long time now. In a March 2025 interview with Teen Vogue, Wilson criticized her father and declared that she wasn’t afraid of the business mogul. “He’s a pathetic man-child,” she noted. “Why would I feel scared of him? Ohhh, he has so much power. Nah, nah, nah. I don’t give a f***. Why should I be scared of this man? Because he’s rich? Oh, no, I’m trembling. Ooh, shivering in my boots here. I don’t give a f*** how much money anyone has.”
