It currently sits ahead of titles such as The Housemaid, 211, The Man in the White Van, and Trouble Man!. Viewers are discovering the film in large numbers after its streaming release.
Directed by Ric Roman Waugh, this movie centers on Mason, a quiet guy who keeps to himself and lives by the sea. But his peaceful life gets flipped upside down when he saves a young girl during a brutal storm. What seems like a simple good deed quickly snowballs into a whole lot of trouble. Mason is forced to dig up old secrets and face parts of his past he’d rather leave buried.
The cast features several recognizable names alongside Jason Statham. Bodhi Rae Breathnach plays the young girl at the center of the story, while Bill Nighy, Naomi Ackie, Daniel Mays, Harriet Walter, Tom Wu, Gordon Alexander, Bronson Webb, Derek Carroll, Sofian Francis, Steven Blades, Billy Clements, Bally Gill, and Anna Crilly round out the ensemble.
