Megan Fox’s Beloved $709M Movie & Its Sequel Are Coming To Hulu

The original movie from an iconic action franchise, featuring Megan Fox, and one of its sequels, will soon be available to stream on Hulu. Both films center on different groups of characters and their role in the war between two alien factions.

Transformers and Transformers: Age of Extinction to stream on Hulu soon

Transformers and Transformers: Age of Extinction will be added to Hulu’s library on Monday, June 1, 2026, per the streamer’s schedule.

The films are based on Hasbro’s popular toy line of the same name. Michael Bay directed both titles. John Rogers, Roberto Orci, and Alex Kurtzman wrote the original Transformers, while Ehren Kruger penned Age of Extinction.

Transformers centers on Sam Witwicky, who is thrust into a war between two advanced alien robot factions: Autobots and Decepticons. His yellow Camaro turns out to be the Autobot Bumblebee, who is protecting him because of his ancestor, Archibald. Centuries ago, Archibald unknowingly discovered information tied to the AllSpark, a powerful artifact and the life source of Cybertron, the Transformers’ home planet.

The film’s cast features Megan Fox, Shia LaBeouf, John Turturro, Josh Duhamel, and Tyrese Gibson, among others. Peter Cullen lent his voice to Optimus Prime throughout the franchise.

In terms of rating, the film holds a 57% critics’ score and an 85% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. It ended its theatrical run by earning $709.7 million worldwide (via Box Office Mojo).

Meanwhile, Transformers: Age of Extinction is the fourth film in the franchise. It takes place 5 years after the Battle of Chicago, as seen in the third installment, Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

The film follows Cade Yeager, a struggling inventor who discovers a damaged Optimus Prime years after humanity turned against the Transformers. As government agents and Decepticons hunt them, Cade joins the Autobots to prevent a global catastrophe.

It stars Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor, and Sophia Myles, among others. The film debuted in theaters on July 3, 2007, and received largely negative reviews. On Rotten Tomatoes, it holds a critics’ score of 18% and a user score of 50%. Despite the negative reception, it grossed an impressive $1.1 billion at the global box office.
