Floyd Mayweather hit with lawsuit over alleged private jet dues
Jet Set Aircraft Inc has filed a $105,000 lawsuit against Floyd Mayweather over alleged unpaid private jet dues. As per Complex, the filing reportedly details a series of claims, such as breach of contract, gaining an undue advantage without paying for the services, and fraud. The charter company alleged that Mayweather and several co-defendants enjoyed jet services but refused to pay for them.
Furthermore, the company claimed that they supplied major aviation-related support such as pilots, fuel, maintenance, and flight coordination to the boxer and his team. Court documents state that Mayweather and co-defendants have to pay $105,690.01. Additionally, the plaintiff is seeking repayment of the money they are owed, along with interest and additional damages.
The complaint also alleges that the defendants assured the charter company that they would pay them, but they never honored their commitment. The lawsuit also includes a detailed bill of all the costs and services of the trip. This includes planning the flight, fuel, maintenance, and paying the crew.
Moreover, the lawsuit claims that people involved knew there could be issues with payment for the services, but still went ahead with it. Interestingly, this isn’t the first time the boxing legend has been hit with legal complaints in relation to unpaid bills and financial disagreements. As of writing, neither Mayweather nor his team has commented on the matter.
