Views of The Fall & Rise of Reggie Dinkins Pilot Jump by 100% Since Release

The premiere episode of The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins has seen a major rise in viewership since its initial broadcast. The Tracy Morgan-led comedy debuted earlier this year and has continued to attract audiences across television and streaming platforms. Its pilot episode has drawn significantly more viewers through delayed viewing and streaming in the weeks since it first aired.

The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins continues breaking viewership records

The new comedy series The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins has continued to expand its views since its television debut earlier this year. The show, which premiered on NBC on January 18, has steadily gained audience across broadcast and streaming platforms in the weeks following its launch.

According to Variety, the premiere has now reached nearly 13 million viewers in total. The episode first aired on NBC on January 18 and initially delivered 5.8 million viewers during its live telecast. That made it the most watched comedy telecast of the 2025 to 2026 television season at the time of its debut.

The strong opening was helped by the program’s scheduling. The premiere aired immediately after NBC’s NFL playoff coverage featuring the Los Angeles Rams and the Chicago Bears. However, the series continued to gain viewers well after the initial airing. When delayed viewing on streaming and digital platforms, including Peacock, is included, the premiere’s total audience has more than doubled over the past 50 days.

The show’s strong performance has continued beyond its premiere. The second episode, titled Nittany Means Big, has become the most-watched comedy episode on Peacock during the 2025 to 2026 television season so far. However, as of now, exact viewing figures have not been publicly released.

The sitcom has also been well received by critics. On Rotten Tomatoes, the show currently holds a 100 percent critics score based on 30 reviews. Audience response has been more divided, with the site’s Popcornmeter rating standing at 65 percent.
