Meghan Markle and ex best friend, Jessica Mulroney, reportedly share a strained friendship since 2020. But now, Jessica’s ex-husband, Ben Mulroney, gave a rare update on the friendship status between Markle and Jessica.
While speaking on the January 28 episode of the “Can’t Be Censored” podcast, the Canadian radio and TV host revealed a bit about the ex-best friends after cohost Travis Dhanraj asked about their relationship.
“There’s so much interest in that period, that friendship, all that stuff. Do you want to say anything about where things are?” Dhanraj asked about the current friendship status between the Duchess of Sussex and the Canadian fashion stylist.
“It’s Jess’ story to tell. I wouldn’t speak for her, if she ever wants to talk about it. But from what I understand, they are on positive terms,” shared Ben.
Markle and Jessica have been friends for a long time. They met while filming “Suits” in Toronto and quickly bonded over many things. Moreover, Jessica even selected looks for the actress for her hit series.
She was also an integral part of Markle’s royal wedding to Prince Harry. The stylist wore an all-blue outfit to the wedding ceremony. Her daughter, Ivy, was also one of the flower girls at the ceremony, while her twin sons Brian and John were holding the bride’s veil as part of their role as pageboys, as per Hello!.
