The Super Bowl is only a few weeks away, and every brand is ensuring they leave no stone unturned to promote itself in the most innovative way possible. Heinz unveils brand new ketchup keg ahead of Super Bowl 2026
Heinz drops an enormous ketchup keg for Super Bowl 2026. On January 27, the brand announced its new “Kegchup,” a portmanteau of the words keg and ketchup. Heinz released a brief video showcasing the keg, with a lengthy caption written in all capital letters. They announced in the caption that if fans wanted to win their own Kegchup, all they have to do is follow the brand on Instagram, like the post, and tag two friends in the comments section.
Heinz showcased a stainless steel container with the brand’s name and “Kegchup” written in bold. According to Heinz, the KegChup holds 114 ounces of ketchup. Additionally, it is 19.5 inches tall and has a built-in faucet for pouring ketchup (via Dexerto).
Fans must note that the ketchup giveaway is available for a limited time, from January 27 to 29. However, Heinz confirmed that there is a broader limited-edition release planned for the start of the 2026 football season on a later date. Interested fans can try to avail the kegchup then as well.
Heinz commented, “For decades, beer has been the MVP of watch parties, yet the Big Game is the second-largest food holiday of the year.” However, Heinz noted that 84 percent of fans prepare their own snacks while watching at home.
Jamie Mack, Associate Director of Brand Communications for Heinz U.S., added: “On game day, fans unleash their unbridled passion for their teams, and their love for Heinz ketchup is no exception, making it a must-have for every watch party spread.”
He added, “That’s why we’re kicking it up a notch with the Heinz KegChup, the ultimate game-day companion that gives people the freedom to dip responsibly, with our unmistakably rich sauce flowing all four quarters long.”
