Travis Kelce Isn’t Playing, but Has a Plan for Super Bowl 2026

Travis Kelce will be skipping the 2026 Pro Bowl. Subsequently, Buffalo Bills TE Dalton Kincaid will be taking his place in the Pro Bowl. Despite not playing, the Kansas City Chiefs star has another plan up his sleeve.

Travis Kelce shares his plan for Super Bowl 2026

Travis Kelce is expected to share his plans for Super Bowl 2026 on his and Jason Kelce’s New Heights podcast. The caption of the post for the upcoming episode read, “THE SUPER BOWL IS SET!!! Call into the Heights Hotline with your Super Bowl questions and we’ll answer our favorites with a special guest.” Moreover, the text on the picture read, “New Heights Hotline Super Bowl edition.”

On January 26, the Bills announced that Dalton Kincaid will be replacing Travis Kelce at the Pro Bowl. While Kelce was chosen initially, it is not mandatory for players. For the unaware, the Chiefs had a rough season and missed the playoffs. Things looked worse after star quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ injury.

Kelce opened up on the emotional toll following the season on the January 7 episode of his podcast. The 36-year-old stated, “It’s a tough way to go out, especially with the amount of success and the standard that you hold.” He further added, “I think, yeah, just being a regular human for a couple weeks, maybe a month or so, trying to figure out what I’m gonna do next in terms of my future in football.”

There have been rumors of Kelce’s retirement from the game. However, the star Tight End is yet to make an official decision.

The 2026 Super Bowl will see the Seattle Seahawks taking on the resurgent New England Patriots. The game takes place on February 8 as Sam Darnold and Drake Maye go head-to-head to try and lead their teams to a Super Bowl ring.
