Paramore UK Tour Announced Along With New Single ‘Hard Times’

Paramore have officially announced their return, revealing a brand new music video along with confirming that they will embark on a full UK tour later this year.

After teasing album artwork earlier this week, the band have revealed that they will be releasing their first new album since their self-titled 2013 LP, with it set to be titled After Laughter. The first single taken from this upcoming album, ‘Hard Times’, is notably different from the band’s previous output, with it presenting a shift towards electro-pop and away from their pop punk origins. The single immediately made its way to the top of Billboard‘s trending chart after its unveiling.

The US band has also announced a number of live shows throughout the UK in June, with them set to travel to London, Dublin, Manchester and more after the release of After Laughter on May 12. The dates the band will play are as follows:

June

  • 15 -‪ Dublin, Ireland @ Olympia
  • 16 – Belfast, United Kingdom @ Waterfront
  • 18 – Manchester, United Kingdom @ O2 Apollo
  • 19 – London, United Kingdom @ Royal Albert Hall
  • 21 – Bristol, United Kingdom @ Colston Hall
  • 22 – Edinburgh, United Kingdom @ Usher Hall

Paramore had a troubled few years prior to their split, with the band’s members swapping in and out before singer Hayley Williams put them on hiatus. ‘Hard Times’ marks the first new material from the band in nearly five years.

Tickets for the UK tour will go on sale starting 9am on April 28. You can check out the video for ‘Hard Times’ below:
