Green Screen Hijinks: Papa Roach Share Nightmare Food Stories From The Road

The new Papa Roach album F.E.A.R. (Face Everything And Rise) was released last month through the Eleven Seven Music Group (album stream), with a #2 debut on the Billboard Rock Albums chart and a wave of critical acclaim.

The band recorded F.E.A.R. in Las Vegas, NV with producers Kevin and Kane Churko (Ozzy Osbourne, Five Finger Death Punch) in early 2014. You can check out the video for the first single “Face Everything And Rise” on the band’s site, and the album can be ordered right here.

Just before the record’s release, Papa Roach paid a visit to Crave Studios where Jacoby Shaddix, Jerry Horton, Tobin Esperance and Tony Palermo gave a some insight into the making of the record, as well as the near-inevitability of album leaks and the hell of dealing with Russian airports. In our follow-up clip, the guys also discuss a few bizarre culinary experiences, particularly a nasty surprise at a Paris restaurant and an ill-fated teppanyaki dinner in Tokyo where the guys literally bit off more than they could chew. Check out the tale of drunken adventures with massaged beef below, with a little visual help from our magical green screen – exclusively on Crave:
