Arctic Monkeys know how to take an experience to the next level. During their performance at The Mann Center in Philadelphia on Wednesday, front Monkey Alex Turner singled out a fan who was strapped in with GoPro headgear. Turner summoned the audience member (@JasonRestich) to toss the gear up to the stage, and rather than enlist security to remove the video voyeur, he passed the camera off to drummer Matt Helders.
What follows is probably the most fun a person can have watching a performance of the band’s excellent hit “R U Mine,” with Helders wearing the headpiece. Ever wanted to know what it’s like to play drums for Arctic Monkeys? Well check out the clip below and eat your heart out.
