Mom was right: always think before you speak.
Mohammed Anas, a Ghanaian soccer player was apparently so damn happy after winning “Man of the Match” and scoring two goals in a game between Free State Stars and Ajax Cape Town that he completely forgot to think before speaking during a post-game interview. And because of that he let out a little secret.
Anas (not to be confused with anus), sure looked happy as he was being interviewed during the game. And he’s such a grateful fella, that he wanted to give a shoutout to the fans, and then to his wife…and his girlfriend. Anas quickly realized his mistake and tried his best to fix it up.

“I’m so sorry, my wife! I love you so much from my heart.” Poor guy. Now he has to explain to two women just what in the hell is going on.
Now let’s give him the benefit of the doubt and say he perhaps he was so excited that he just misspoke, and called his wife his girlfriend as well. Doubtful, perhaps, but I’m just giving him the benefit of the doubt.
And now let’s give Anas kudos for making us care about soccer for a few minutes.
