Sony has continued to ride its mobile line on the shoulders of their impressive cameras with its new crown jewel Sony Xperia XZ2, as it is the first mobile phone that’s able to shoot 4K HDR videos.

The phone features a 19-megapixel rear and five-megapixel front-facing camera. It also has the ability to create 3D selfies with its 3D scanning ability. Snapdragon 845 processor, 3180 mAh battery, the 4GB of RAM memory, and 64GB of storage are all pretty standard specs for high end phones and more than adequate.

As the design is concerned, Sony finally backed away from their signature sharp corners design and went with a more rounded “organic” approach, combined with the Gorilla Glass 5 on both ends of the device.

There are two versions of the Sony Xperia XZ2, both with the 18:9 display ratio. The regular one with the 5.7″ display, and the smaller Compact version with the screen size of 5.0″ and a slightly weaker battery.

Sony Xperia XZ2 is expected sometime in March.
