Bravo Announces New Series “Legends” Premiere Date

A new investigative series called “Legends,” led by Sean Bean (“Game of Thrones”) and Ali Larter (“Heroes”), is premiering on August 27th on Bravo, the network recently announced.

The show is based on the award-winning book by novelist Robert Littell and follows Martin Odum, a character who lives a life in shadows as an undercover agent working for the FBI’s Deep Cover Operations (DCO) division. The series comes from the executive producers of “Homeland” and “24.” For a sneak peek at LEGENDS, click here

Following recent appearances at the Television Critics Association tour and San Diego Comicon, “Legends” has already generated social chatter with the hashtag #dontkillseanbean, homage to the grisly demise many of his past characters have met to date.

In the series premiere of “Legends,” deep cover agent Martin Odum (Bean) returns to the FBI after an assignment infiltrating the Citizen’s Army of Virginia (CAV), a domestic terrorist organization. He tries to re-connect with his estranged wife and son, put his life back together, and get the last “legend” behind him, but when the CAV announces an eminent attack, Martin must go back under in order to stop them. Also, a mysterious stranger confronts Martin to tell him that his whole life may be a deep cover legend and that everything he thinks he knows is a lie.

“Legends” begins August 27th at 9pm on Bravo.
