Mac Walters was the head writer for Mass Effect 3 and he’s now talking about the next link in the Mass Effect chain.
In an interview summarized on Crave’s sister site Destructoid, Walters said Bioware doesn’t want a Shepard-related story for Mass Effect 4. Walters said the story is coming together and he’s looking forward to focusing on a new main character.
