The final day of Splendour In The Grass 2015 was as awash with mixed emotions as it was with mud. There was exhaustion, denial and sadness as the marathon three day festival drew to a close, signalling everyone’s impending return to the real world, beyond the music (and mud) soaked wonderland of Byron Bay Parklands.
But not before one final romp in the hay, and action-packed sets from headliners Blur, Aussie superstars Tame Impala and Brit duo Royal Blood helped close-out the festival with a climactic dose of rock.
There were also a tonne of other outstanding acts that made Splendour’s last stand for 2015 unforgettable, including The Delta Riggs, Wolf Alice, Last Dinosaurs, The Vaccines and Jamie T.
