Rosario Dawson Returns For Daredevil Season 2

Rosario Dawson’s turn as Claire Temple on Marvel’s Daredevil was widely acclaimed by fans and critics. Just a few weeks after the fast renewal from Netflix, Marvel has lined up Dawson for Daredevil and beyond.

Marvel.com announced that Dawson has signed a deal to not only reprise her role in Daredevil Season 2, but also in any of Marvel’s other Netflix series which include the upcoming A.K.A. Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and The Defenders.

During the first season of Daredevil, Claire resisted the romantic overtures of Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) while tending to the wounds that he received as a vigilante. Claire is an amalgamation of two characters from the comics: Night Nurse and an old girlfriend of Luke Cage who shares the same name as her live action counterpart.

Dawson has previously appeared in several feature films including Cesar Chavez, Sin City, Kids and Top Five.

Daredevil Season 2 will premiere in 2016 on Netflix. Production on the second season is expected to begin this summer.
