Van Halen Tour Coming To Canada

Van Halen recently announced a North American tour, and will be including two stops north of the border in Toronto and London – in total they will hit 39 cities.

Supporting their latest effort Tokyo Dome – Live In Concert, a double CD recorded two years ago, Van Halen, along with lead singer David Lee Roth, will also perform on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Monday, March 30th. Despite band members coming and going over the years, or the band going on a complete haitus (like from 1999-2003) lead singer David Lee Roth, guitarist Eddie Van Halen, drummer Alex Van Halen, and bassist Wolfgang Van Halen are all on the line-up for the tour.

Van Halen was formed in 1972 and quickly skyrocketed to becoming one of the most successful rock bands of all time. Their latest effort, A Different Kind of Truth, was released in 2012, and last month, founder Eddie Van Halen told Blabbermouth about the possibility of putting out another album:  “I’d love to make a studio record. Depends on everybody’s timing. I don’t know what Dave Lee Roth is up to now. I don’t know if he’s living in New York or Japan or wherever he is.”

Tickets for Van Halen’s Canadian concert dates will go on public sale on April 4th with local pre-sale details to come in the next few weeks.
