CM Punk has revealed that he won’t be returning to the WWE, after hanging up his boots with the company earlier this year.
In an interview with Chris Van Vliet, Punk stated that he “couldn’t remember” chunks of his life due to staph infections and concussions he suffered during his time with the company, before stating that he will “never ever” step between the ropes of a WWE ring again.
While Punk could have simply been attempting to raise the ire of WWE fans, as he commented that they would be “going wild” on Twitter after watching the interview, given that his contract with the company has now expired it seems likely that he won’t be making a comeback anytime soon, even though his newlywed wife AJ Lee is still the company’s Divas champion.
