Voodoo 2013 VIDEO: DJ Destructo on HARD Fest Philosophy, Exploding DJs and more

Last weekend’s New Orleans experience was an absolute blast, covering the Voodoo 2013 festival where Pearl Jam, Nine Inch Nails, Reignwolf and more joined us for a weekend music marathon at City Park’s gorgeous festival setting. The festival also featured a strong cross-section of EDM, with artists including Big Gigantic, Beats Antique and Rudimental leading fans through a supercharged beatfest and lightshow on the Le Plur stage throughout the weekend.

While on site we sat down with Saturday DJ performer Gary Richards, aka Destructo, CEO and founder of HARD events. Check out our talk below, where we cover the philosophy behind Richards’ approach to HARD, his current projects and more.
