This Pirates Fan Fan’d Harder Than You Have, Ever

I remember the moment I first cried watching a sporting event.

It was the 1993 NBA Finals and John Paxson had just nailed a three-pointer in the waning seconds of Game 6 to clinch the Chicago Bulls’ third consecutive title. I sobbed.

For that novel experience as a young human trapped in newly-found fan-hood, I was nine and watching the historical event unfold on a small living room box. For this kid below, the personal ballpark, 18-inning experience was nearly too much to take.

This little Pirates fan went viral overnight because he may be the cutest yet most passionate fan we’ve seen all year.

The emotional roller coaster begins early in the game when his Bucs have a lead over the Nats. However, you’ll see his emotions turn sour when Daniel Murphy hits a pinch-hit, game-tying home run in the bottom of the ninth, only to see him moved to happier tears by the end due to Starling Marte’s solo homer in the 18th!

Someone get this kid a nap followed by a giant plate of milk and cookies. He deserves it.

On a side note, what kind of milk d0 these kids drink in Pittsburgh? It was just two years ago Penguins fanatic Buckle Up Baby stole our hearts.
