According to PWInsider, officials from both WWE and Impact Wrestling met at WWE Headquarters last week. Although Vince McMahon himself wasn’t present it’s believed that members of Triple H’s team were indeed there, with the meeting supposedly being a general discussion between the two parties. They’ve been gradually building more of a relationship over the last few years, from WWE mentioning them on television to paying for material from their video library.
Impact officials refused to comment on the nature of the meetings, although they did make it known that it had nothing to do with any kind of potential sale. The company have been on something of a roll lately, gradually improving their reputation to the point where many are saying that the future is bright for them.
