The New Day are once again your W…W…E… Tag Team Champions!
The New Day defeated the Bludgeon Brothers in the main event of tonight’s episode of Smackdown Live in a no disqualification match. The final moments of the match saw Rowan put through the barricade after he attempted to hit his opponents with his sledgehammer. Kofi and Xavier then isolated Harper in the ring, with Kofi holding Harper down on a table while Woods hit a top rope springboard elbow drop through it to win.
The title reign is the fifth overall for The New Day, and their third reign as Smackdown champions. The Bludgeon Brothers‘ lone title reign together ends at 135 days; Harper also had another title reign along with Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton as The Wyatt Family.
