NXT Women’s Championship: Shayna Baszler (c) Vs. Kairi Sane
These two are scheduled to do battle at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn IV on August 18th and have had a long history with each other. I believe that Shayna will retain the title at Takeover using some kind of dirty tactic and Kairi will be awarded a rematch for Evolution. Of course, if Kairi does win at TakeOver, Baszler could very well invoke a rematch clause for the event. These are two of the hottest NXT female superstars at the moment, and Evolution is a perfect place to put an end to this rivalry.
NXT UK Women’s Championship: Toni Storm Vs. Charlie Morgan
It has been revealed that the WWE NXT UK Women’s Champion will be defended at Evolution. While there are only a few female superstars announced for this brand so far, Toni Storm is arguably the biggest name on the roster, and she has a history with Charlie Morgan. Toni beat Charlie at Super Strong Style 16 in May and was also the first ever Progress Wrestling Women’s Champion. Charlie Morgan is currently the Pro Wrestling: EVE Champion and has also teamed with Storm before, notably at Progress Wrestling Chapter 63. It seems as if all of the seeds are planted for these women to feud and fight for the title at Evolution.
