Smackdown Women’s Championship: Carmella vs. Becky Lynch

Carmella won out against both Charlotte Flair and Asuka. Pretty insane, but it makes sense given that her heel character keeps conjuring up these cheap wins. If Carmella is going through programs with Smackdowns “best” female competitors, it seems that Becky Lynch should be the next in line.

Lynch has been picking up wins most every week on Smackdown in the past few months, so she’s both fresh in the mind for fans and freshly legitimate in the ring. Her past booking has not been too forgiving, but since it’s been picking up as of late, I don’t think there’s anyone else that can compete for Carmella’s title. Also, Lynch defeated Carmella to become the Smackdown Women’s Champion as part of a multi-woman match in 2016, so there’s some history there.

Raw Women’s Championship: Alexa Bliss vs. Ronda Rousey

Now that Nia Jax is out of the way, this match can take the spotlight. Rousey is clearly going to go right for Alexa Bliss once her storyline suspension is up. There’s no other way I see the Raw Women’s Championship match going for SummerSlam unless Jax gets added for a triple threat.

Intercontinental Championship: Dolph Ziggler vs. Seth Rollins (No DQ Match)

Ziggler defeated Rollins at Extreme Rules because of some underhanded tactics. That’s fine and all, but I don’t quite think this feud is over yet. Since the loss was not clean, this rivalry could very well continue on to SummerSlam and beyond. The only thing here is that since they did an Iron man match, what is the next step? They’ll have to raise the stakes and try another contest- maybe a no holds barred? Also, a no DQ contest would mean that the match is wide open for a Dean Ambrose interference/return.
