SIXTH MATCH: A Block Match: Michael Elgin (2 pts) vs. Hangman Page (2 pts)

Hangman Page became a star tonight. Meeting the powerful Elgin move for move, Page looked to prove himself to the Hokkaido crowd. Elgin used a plethora of jr. heavyweight moves, including Will Ospreay’s Stormbreaker. Page fought, and even overpowered the muscular Elgin at points. Elgin had to use a Tiger Bomb/Elgin Bomb combo to finally get the pinfall.

SEVENTH MATCH: A Block Match: YOSHI-HASHI (0 pts) vs. EVIL (0 pts)

YOSHI-HASHI was a spark plug for the entire match. EVIL size advantage made it feel like YOSHI-HASHI was biting off more than he could chew, even taking a spill to the outside on an ill-advised powerbomb.. EVIL targeted the injured shoulder of YOSHI-HASHI for a majority of the match’s opening. YOSHI-HASHI’s obsession with hitting Karma got the better of him, as EVIL seemed to be too big to hit the move on. EVIL fought back from YOSHI-HASHI’s onslaught and hit an STO for the pinfall.

WINNER: EVIL (2 pts)
