New Japan Pro Wrestling uploaded the following clip online of Cody Rhodes commenting on his upcoming match against Kenny Omega for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship at G1 Special in San Francisco.
Cody Rhodes says that the IWGP Championship is the most important championship in the world right now and onecan’t get higher than that. He goes on to say that the reason why the title is not just called a “belt” is because it means much more than that. Cody says Kenny Omega is not prepared to be the champion. According to Cody, Omega is not going to be featured on any covers of magazines, or video games because they don’t trust him. Cody admits that Kenny is among the best wrestlers in the world but just that is not enough for the show business.
