MLB Team To Host First-Ever ‘WWE Night’, Angle Takes On HBK 13 Years Ago

MLB Team To Host First-Ever ‘WWE Night’

The Philadelphia Phillies have announced that they will be hosting a “WWE Night” this Friday on June 29 at Citizens Bank Park when Philadelphia takes on the Washington Nationals. No wrestlers are currently scheduled to appear, but the first 1,000 fans to buy tickets through the promotion get a “Phillies WWE Championship” tee shirt.

Angle Takes On HBK 13 Years Ago

WWE Network‘s Instagram shared the following “This Day In WWE History” photo of Kurt Angle trapping Shawn Michaels in an ankle-lock in their WrestleMania rematch at Vengeance of  2005:
