On what exactly has driven him so far off the edge:

EE: Look at it from my perspective. First the baseball bat to the face. Then Sami saying he meant to do it. He went out of his way to make sure everyone knew he meant to do it. Sami couldn’t care less if he ended my career. He could have taken away my livelyhood. Then all the stuff with my wife Alisha and things snowballed after that. Every man has their breaking point. That is what I have been saying all along. The fans or anyone on the outside looking in needs to understand that. Have I changed my attitude? Sure, but I feel like this has made me what I am. Anyone watching should feel like if this happened to them they would react this way too. Sami stalked my wife and this and that. This is a welcome change for me right now. I am enjoying kicking Sami’s ass. I’m enjoying it.

On why beating Callihan in a street fight, putting Callihan in the hospital, and choking him out last week wasn’t enough:

EE: I won’t be happy until Sami is out of wrestling, till Sami is dead, till I can put an end to Sami. Just like he has tried to do to me and other people. Why do I have to stop? I feel like when people on the outside say enough is enough it’s up to me to decide that. I am the one in this position. I am the one who went through this. I decide when enough is enough. It won’t be enough until Sami Callihan is done ruining my life and other people’s lives. I say when this is done.

On if he is worried about his unsanctioned match in the woods against Sami Callihan:

EE: I don’t know what’s going to be out there or what is going to happen, but this is what I want. I want Sami one-on-one. I want to end him. It’s a fight in the woods so who knows what’s out there. I am just ready for a fight. That’s the best I can do. This is what I asked for.

On what he has in store for Callihan in the woods:

EE: I can’t say. I appreciate the effort of you asking.
