Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that NXT up and comer Tino Sabbatelli tore his pectoral muscle after taking a dropkick from Velveteen Dream in the NXT Live Event last Saturday in Florida and has since undergone surgery.

It is expected that he will be out rehabbing the injury for up to 6 to 9 months.

The injury couldn’t come at a worse time for Sabbatelli as he had just split from his tag team partner Riddick Moss and was on the cusp of receiving a push as a singles competitor.
