Backstage, Austin Aries says coming in and winning the title was amazing. Aries starts to talk about his book but Alberto El Patron walks in. El Patron says he has to speak to Aries. Aries and El Patron shake hands. El Patron says Aries has no idea how happy he is that Aries is here. This is El Patron’s show. El Patron says he is happy to no longer have a paper champion like Eli Drake. El Patron says he is the champion who never lost the belt. El Patron says he has a surprise for Aries. A gift. El Patron has a table wheeled in. There is a bottle of wine and a huge steak.
Aries passes and says he will just have his banana. El Patron says Aries is disrespecting him. El Patron takes a bit of the steak and tries to feed a piece to Aries. Aries says no thanks. El Patron gets very close to Aries’ face and takes a bite. El Patron waves the rest of the steak in Aries’ face. Aries slaps it out of El Patron’s hand. El Patron begs off and says he didn’t know about the vegan stuff and he will even buy two Aries books. Aries says he doesn’t need El Patron’s money and he gives El Patron a book. El Patron backs aways. Aries thanks El Patron for the wine.
