PWInsider.com is reporting Impact Wrestling has licensed ‘Broken Universe’ content to WWE, a sign that may signal the ‘Broken Universe’ coming to WWE programming.

While Matt Hardy has teased introducing his family on TV as of late, PWInsider’s report notes several sources that stated Impact licensed ‘Broken Universe’ material to WWE; the purpose of licensing the content isn’t known at this time, but it was noted that a WWE 24 show about the Hardys is in the works, as well as a Hardy themed WWE DVD release.

As noted earlier this week, Hardy now owns all of the trademarks to the Broken Universe, but Impact Wrestling still maintains ownership of the video footage from Hardy’s time with the company. With the licensing agreement, WWE would be able to use some of that content in the future.
