MVP made a surprise appearance on BLW Talk in a crossover episode with Shawn Daivari joining the conversation later. MVP on his RAW 25 appearance (24:16):
“By and far and away I was the sharpest dressed poker player in the building. At the end of the day I made a very nice pay day to show up in a suit, play cards, say hi to my friends, no bumps I win.
It makes me laugh because people were like congratulations on going to RAW. Congratulations for what? It’s a date. I’m going to work, it’s a one off. Thanks I guess. not that big a deal. For me. With all due respect.”
DAIVARI (53:20)
Regarding the return of the XFL and the connection between Trump and McMahon:
“I don’t think the two are related at all, but I do believe that Vince does what’s most popular in America and right now if it is more popular to stand for the national anthem he will do it.”
When it came to the topic of XFL requiring players to stand for the national anthem MVP had the following to say:
“I want to get re-signed to the WWE just so I can make an XFL appearance at a game and then take a knee during the national anthem.”
