New Japan Pro Wrestling presents Night 2 of The New Beginning in Sapporo, featuring all the stars of NJPW. The event is set to air at 1am EST and will be broadcast LIVE on NJPWWorld.com.

FIRST MATCH: Katsuya Kitamura Best of Seven Series Match 3: Katsuya Kitamura (0-2) vs. Juice Robinson

Robinson and Kitamura fist bump to start. They lock up. Kitamura gets the better of some chain wrestling. Robinson wins a test of strength and works a headlock on Kitamura. Shoulder blocks knock down neither man. Robinson kicks Kitamura with a gut kick and  taunts Kitamura as he beats on him. Kitamura drops Robinson with a lariat. The two men exchange chops.

Robinson corners Kitamura and works over the gut. Kitamura whips Juice into the corner and then hits a backdrop. Kitamura gets a nearfall.

Juice dodges a Spear and then hits a series of rapid headbutts. Juice hits a Cannonball on Kitamura, dazing the young lion. Kitamura’s chest is bleeding from the earlier chop battle. Kitamura tries to fight back but Robinson keeps him grounded and locks in a seated Full Nelson. Kitamura works up to his feet and powers out of the hold. Juice attempts a back suplex but Kitamura fights it off. Kitamura dodges the side kick and hits a one-armed spinebuster. Kitamura hits forearms on Robinson, knocking him down. Kitamura traps Robinson in the corner and chops the chest. Each chop sends Juice into another turnbuckle, until they go all the way around the ring. Kitamura hits a corner elbow and then a running shoulder block. Kitamura hits a deadlift gutwrench for two.

Juice leapfrogs over a Spear attempt and hits a Spinebuster for two. Both men attempt vertical suplexes but neither can follow through. A series of lariats from Juice get very little response from Kitamura. Juice staggers Kitamura, but Kitamura rebounds with a spear. Kitamura goes for the Jackhammer, but Juice fights out of it, and drops Kitamura with a punch/running lariat combo for a two count. Juice hits Pulp Friction for the pinfall.

WINNER: Juice Robinson

SECOND MATCH: Suzuki-gun (TAKA Michinoku, El Desperado, Yoshinobu Kanemaru & Taichi) (w/ Miho Abe) vs. Syota Umino, Jushin “Thunder” Liger, Tiger Mask & Ryusuke Taguchi

Taguchi grabs Miho Abe, causing Taichi to attack him to start the match. Taguchi hits a hip attack to escape the assault. Liger tags in and hits a Shotei. Liger locks in a Romero Special on Yoshinobu Kanemaru but Taichi breaks it up. Taichi sends Liger to the outside and chokes him with a microphone stand.

TAKA and Desperado attempt to pull of Tiger Mask’s mask. In the ring, Taichi and Kanemaru double team Liger. All of Suzuki-gun assault Liger in the corner. El Desperado tags in and dominates Liger with strikes and chokes in the corner. Liger counters a running corner attack with a big boot and a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Tiger Mask tags in and hits a flying crossbody. Tiger fights of Kanemaru and then tries Tiger Driver on Desperado, but Desperado fights it off. TAKA runs in and tries to undo Tiger’s mask. Bicycle kick from TAKA but Tiger sends Desperado into TAKA. Tiger Mask hits a top rope double underhook suplex for two. Brawl ensues.

Taichi tags in and goes after Tiger’s mask. Taichi taunts Tiger with kicks. Tiger Mask hits a huge dropkick on Taichi. Umino tags in and hits rapid fire running elbows on Taichi. Umino hits a huge running forearm for two.

Umino clears the apron and his whole team runs the bases on Taichi. Umino hits a missile dropkick for two. Umino hits a series of forearms but is dropped by a lariat. Taichi loses his pants but Umino rolls him up in a La Magistral for two. Taichi sidesteps a running elbow and hits an enziguri for two. Taichi hits a Thrust Kick on Umino for the pinfall.

WINNERS: Suzuki-gun.

After the match Suzuki-gun goes after Tiger Mask’s mask and unmask him. They put the mask on Miho Abe and attack Taguchi.
