War Machine Headed To WWE

WrestleZone can confirm the recent rumors that War Machine (Hanson & Raymond Rowe) are headed to WWE once they finish up their obligations to New Japan at Wrestle Kingdom 12. War Machine are scheduled to team with Michael Elgin to participate in a gauntlet match for the NEVER Openweight Six Man Tag Team Championship on 1/4.

New Japan To Announce Video Game

According to njpw1972.com New Japan Pro Wrestling will announce a video game at the 2018 NJPW Fan Fiesta on January 3rd. The announcement is scheduled for 12:15pm.

The event will also feature autograph signings and matches involving the Young Lions. The announcement, matches and more will be broadcast on njpwworld.com.

Katsuya Kitamura Wins Young Lion Cup

Katsuya Kitamura won New Japan’s Young Lion Cup. He finished the round robin tournament with 10 points after defeating Tomoyuki Oka. This was the first Young Lion Cup since 2005. Kitamura said in a post match interview that he plans to go on excursion to improve his skills.

 

30,000 Tickets Sold For Wrestle Kingdom

According to the company’s Twitter, 30,000 tickets have been sold for Wrestle Kingdom 12. This is up from last year’s attendance of 26,192. New Japan has not had over 30,000 in attendance for Wrestle Kingdom since Wrestle Kingdom 9.
