Backstage News & Notes From Slammiversary
PWInsider.com is reporting the following coming out of Slammiversary last night:
- Global Force Wrestling/Impact Wrestling turned away more fans for last night’s Slammiversary than they have for a Universal Studios event in a long time
- GFW has ordered new unified belts which will most likely debut at tonight’s TV tapings
- Bruce Prichard was not at the show last night as he was dealing with a family issue
- Jeremy Borash received 20-25 puncture wounds in his hand and wrist after his top rope splash onto thumbtacks. He was medically attended to and had his hands taped up following the bout.
- The door is open for a Sharkboy return to GFW following his appearance last night
- There’s no word on whether Jim Mitchell will be returning to GFW but since he lives in the Orlando area it doesn’t seem unlikely

Eric Bischoff Squaring Off With The Progressive Liberal
This Wednesday’s episode off Bischoff on Wrestling will feature a pro wrestling and political discussion between former WCW President Eric Bischoff and one of the hottest independent pro wrestlers on the planet right now, The Progressive Liberal. The Progressive Liberal’s VICE episode will debut on HBO Wednesday night as well.
Fans are encouraged to submit questions and topics for the two to debate by using the hashtag #BischoffOnWrestling on Twitter.
The latest Bischoff on Wrestling Overrun will be released one hour before Monday Night RAW tonight via the general BoW podcast feed and features Capitol Wrestling Executive Producer Matthew Ryan.
